Nominees will be given the following
Ambassadors participate in the promotion of water, and a relationship of reverence to its qualities, in a strategic attempt to address and solve the most challenging problems of the 21 st century, ensure the sustainable viability of our communities and improve the quality of life for our children, generations to come.
We recognize water as holding key attributes that make it the ideal candidate as a focal point for human energies that can draw the motivation and momentum necessary to guide a sustainable direction in all our activities.
I understand that water is arguably the greatest fundamental driver of the human condition, and the history of our civilizations. I am aware that Water holds the keys to a secure future. Meeting the Millennium Development Goals and what we do starting now, over the course of the International Decade of Water and the following 10 years is critical to the salvation of the planet and our children's future. Focusing on Water is the best use of my efforts to serve and protect life and all that I cherish on this Earth and in my community.
I understand that The Embassy of Water develops Focused, Doable, Measurable programs and adheres to these standards in all its practices.
Yes! • I pledge to continuously learn about water subjects of interest and importance. • I pledge to spread enthusiasm for water, by reaching out to others in a manner that is inviting and considers others present interests. • I pledge to reach out to my most influential friends, families, and associates on the subject in an effort to best serve humanity and our common future. • I pledge to search for opportunities to broaden the involvement of others in water by making new friends and exploring powerful mediums of communication. • I pledge to increase understanding of water its pervasiveness and its importance. Yes! I think water is interesting and important. Our relationship to it is critical for sustaining life. This Year, I most enthusiastically pledge to continuously learn about water and share what I learn with others. There is nothing more interesting or valuable that I can do. This is an excellent use of my (and/or my company's) valuable time and energies.
